They raised an angel. Although he was an ordinary teenager, he absorbed himself in literature.
He moved to Elkhart, Indiana in 1962 where he met his wife Nancy ( Drake). They married and stayed there for 43 years.
Bill loved to invent and build things. He was a pattern maker for Elkhart Brass Fire Fighting Equipment for 30 years.
He raised two beautiful daughters. Sara (Hilton) and Billie (Smith). They are the apples of his eye. His family was with him surrounding him with love until the end. He will be missed greatly
Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy Smith; daughter Billie Smith and her partner Rick Gleeson; daughter Sara Hilton and her family- husband Jerry Hilton, grandson Joshua Smith, grandson Casey Thompson and spouse Marissa Thompson, grandson Colin Hilton and spouse Kiah Hilton and grandson Damian Hilton. Great grandchildren Liam and Blakely Thompson, Willa Smith and Amina Hilton.
