Anthony James Gaston

Anthony James Gaston, 42, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, in Ventura CA. He was born on March 28, 1973, in Oxnard. He was always happy, and smiling, managing to make friends everywhere he went. Anthony was a Shipping and Receiving Clerk with Vons for the last 10 years, who loved bowling, playing Scratchers, and spending time with his daughter Rose Marie most of all. Whether it was spent taking her to the beach or riding the carousel, he was always elated to see her.

Anthony is survived by his daughter, Rose Marie Gaston of Ventura; mother, Cecilia Gaston of Ventura; father, Carlton “Corky” and his wife Peggy Gaston of Oklahoma; grandmother, Dominga Alvarado of Ventura; brother Chris and his wife Angel Gaston; nephews, Christopher, and Colin Gaston; nieces, Ava, and Alayna Gaston of Oklahoma; aunts, Tonia Avila and Darl of Ventura, Mary Lou Valdes of Ojai, Becki Anderson of Ventura, Amy Alvarado of Wisconsin, and Grace Gaston of Ventura; uncles, Kelly Gaston of Ventura, and Freddy Anderson of Ventura. He definitely had many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers.

A Memorial Service will be held in Anthony’s honor on Friday, November 6, 2015, 11:30 A.M., at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home located at 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, CA, 93003.
