Audrey Fayloga, 76, died on Monday, September 17, 2018, in Thousand Oaks, California. She was born on June 24, 1942, in New York City to Morris and Rose Kalish, and relocated to Ventura, California from Staten Island, New York in 1980.
Audrey was a homemaker and tenacious advocate for her son Andrew prior to his death. She lived life to the fullest through her family by spending time with her grandchildren, camping, visiting museums, attending graduations, and traveling throughout our National Parks, the Pacific Northwest, New York, Europe, and Isreal. Audrey also enjoyed volunteering in the community, freely giving her time to several organizations like the Temple Beth Torah, the Jewish Family Services of Ventura County, and the Ventura County Multiple Sclerosis Society.
She is survived by her sister, Rita Howard; son and daughter in law, Jay and Liana Fayloga; daughter, Heidi McCool; and five grandchildren Maggie, Kacie, Kate, Ben and Eli. Audrey was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Fayloga.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service being held in Audrey’s honor on Friday, September 21, 2018, 10:00 A.M., at the Ted Mayer Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, California. Burial services will follow at the Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Road, Ventura.
Memorial Donations can be made in honor of Audrey to the Jewish Family Services of Ventura County, or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home.
