I just recently found out about Cathy's passing when I received a letter from State Farm.  I was very shocked and sad to find out.  Cathy was my insurance agent and her mother Peggy was my agent before Cathy took over the office.  I have moved from the area but chose to continuing using Cathy as my agent because she was always so warm and friendly on the phone.  We built up a nice working relationship that was more than just a business relationship.  She always asked how I was doing and we would end up talking about our families.  I will miss her care and concern and the extra mile she would go to help me especially when I would call her from Afghanistan or Iraq which is where I have been working the past few years. My sympathy to her family for the loss of such a wonderful person.  I enjoyed knowing Cathy for the past 25 years.  I am sure there will be a special place for her in heaven.

My husband and I are so sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. We have been clients of hers for years. Ever since my husband started driving in 1980...Peggy Staats(Cathy's mother) was his insurance lady..as was his fathers (William Norris) also. I guess you could say she stayed in the family. She was so kind and friendly. Then when Cathy took over, she was no different from her mother. .honest and sincere:)  We've been with Farmers ever since..and it's because of the up close and personal attention she and her mother gave to us. Thank you from Steve and Debra Norris. It was a pleasure to have known you* I'm sorry you didn't get the chance to enjoy your new grandbaby more* Your love will live on in your family.

I just heard about this today. Aug 10th. Cathy took care of my Insurance and her Mom before her.  She was ALWAYS so SWEET and KIND. I am so sorry to hear this news. I know she is a beautiful Angel in heaven and will continue on with kindness and love. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

Cathy was a wonderful friend to me.  I met you in fourth grade at girl scout camp and we always had that smile, smile, smile.  I will never forget it.  Thank you for blessing me with two wonderful godsons and a great friend of your husband.  I do not know how I will ever accept the fact that you are gone but someday I will be reunited with you.  I can't wait for that day!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Cathy is a wonderful mother. Her love and kindness will live on in her boys and grandkids. We will see to it that your grandchildren will always remember you. You raised two incredible sons and I thank you for bringing Cory in to this world to share his life with my daughter and our grandchildren.

I unfortunately arrived shortly after this unfortunate accident. It really got to me, and although we have never met, through the comments, it sounds like you obviously left a lasting impression on your friends & family. May you rest in peace. My condolences to the Paxman family.

We miss you so much.  You were a true friend, associate, and confidant. You lived a blessed life, living life on your terms, at the same time having the most amazing marriage and family.  You are so loved.  My condolences to all of your family and friends.

Cathy was family and I will miss her. She was so proud of her boys and adored her grandchildren - it makes my heart ache to think that her grandkids are so young that they may not even remember her - I truly hope that they do, but, if not, I know they will be reminded all the time what a beautiful and truly kind woman she was. I will think of her every Paxman family birthday and holiday and trip Shelly and Cory and the kids make to Simi. I wish for peace and nothing but good things to come for her loved ones, including a swift recovery for Gary. 

I will miss you Cathy. You are impossible to forget.
