Deborah Lee Dyer

After living overseas for ten years in Singapore and Japan, Deborah landed in Ventura County in 1987. She graduated from nursing school in May, 1996, and was a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room nurse for over 20 years.

Deborah met Richard Anderson, the love of her life, in 2000. They were married in 2004 on the America’s Cup, Stars and Stripes sailing yacht off the San Diego Coast.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Richard of Ventura, CA; brother, Jeffrey Norton; sister, Pamela (Tom) Matthews; nephews, Scott, Kevin, and Paul; niece, Susan, and Maggie, her beloved Weimaraner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul, and Nancy Norton; and brothers, David Leland, and Richard Elliot Norton.

A celebration of Deborah’s life will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.
