Dennis Henry Rearick

He leaves his loving wife of 36 years, Dr. Ellen M. (Gustafson) Rearick of Ventura, CA and Wales, MA; his children, Dr. Molly "Kate" Rearick of Los Angeles, CA, Emma "Lou" Rearick and her husband Jay Guarneri of Manhattan, KS, and Benjamin Rearick of Wales, MA; and many other loved ones.

Dennis was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania to John Henry and Katherine (Goepfert) Rearick. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Delores Stahlman and John Kenneth Rearick.

In 1980, he married the love of his life, Ellen, at Garden of the Gods in Colorado.

He enjoyed a good mystery, was an avid griller, a devoted Steelers and Pirates fan, and as he liked to say, an "armchair surfer." He and Ellen often traveled to different parts of the country.

Dennis will be remembered as an advocate for people with disabilities, as a man who pushed himself to try new things, and as an intelligent and loving father, husband, uncle, and friend.

Dennis' life will be celebrated privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Center of Hope in Southbridge, MA or Reid's Gift, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA.
