Eleanor Louise Shearer Hull

She graduated from Asbury College in 1939 and moved to Yorba Linda that same year. She received her California Life Teaching Credential from the University of Redlands in 1940. Ellie taught elementary school in Globe, Arizona and La Habra, California. She then earned her Special Education Credential from California State University, Fullerton in 1963. She taught Special Education in the Orange Unified School District until she retired in 1975. She was faithful to God and enjoyed being in church for as long as she was physically able to attend. She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Hull in 1985.

Eleanor is survived by her sons Kent Hull of Yorba Linda and Jim Hull of Garden Grove; her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Lisa Hull of Ventura and her grandchildren, Garrett and Courtney Hull.

Services honoring Eleanor’s life will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011, 11:00AM, at the Faith Community Church of the Nazarene, 16800 Imperial Highway, Yorba Linda, CA. Private Interment will take place at Fairhaven Memorial Park.
