I miss my daughter Esther Rose with all my heart.

It has been four years since I lost my Essie. I miss her hugs and her sense of humor. We went to see the Sound of Music when Essie was a little girl. For some reason, she started laughing at the singing. Then I started laughing. We made an early exit.

I think of Essie as a delight. I'm a Red Cross volunteer, and I met her at the Ventura Red Cross. I'm shocked and saddened to her she's departed so soon. What a sense of humor, and a very good teacher. Condolences.

Looking back on this year... Everything sucked.  I miss my friend.

Essie always was there for me to bounce things off of, and she'd pick them up, polish them, put a hilarious twist on them, and then throw 'em right back at me.
