Evelyn Louise Cooper

Evelyn was born January 10, 1924, Los Angeles to Clyde H. and Carrie May Kinsey. She was a resident of Ventura for the past 13 years, moving here from Avila Beach.

Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was married to Frank E. Cooper in 1945; they shared 52 years together before his passing in 1997. Along with raising her children, Evelyn was actively involved with volunteer work in her community. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and active with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, PTA and the Alliance on Mental Illness, of San Luis Obispo.

Evelyn enjoyed playing bridge, traveling the world and entertaining friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail Cooper of Napa; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Allen Krahenbuhl of Oxnard; grandchildren, Renee Krahenbuhl of Lakewood, WA, Kelly Lopez (Ron) of Oakley, CA, Pete Krahenbuhl of Denver, CO, and Rich Krahenbuhl (Renee Spinhirne) of Lakewood, CO; and great granddaughters, Marie and Evely of Lakewood, CO.

Memorial donations may be made to the Assistance League of Ventura County, or the Alliance on Mental Health, of San Luis Obispo.
