Fr Miller you will be sadly missed my many RIP ❤️

Fr. Miller thank you and Sister Christine for everything you did for the GA Boys. We love you both. 

Julie, Fr Miller was blessed to have Dr Sanchez & you be such a big part of his life. He felt comfortable saying he was spending Thanksgiving with your family. Along with many other family events. Thank you for all you did for Father. He truly appreciated and loved you and Dr Sanchez. He appreciated both of your gift for gab :), and making him laugh. He really got a kick from hearing your stories.  Thank you for having such a warm and giving heart. Fr Miller thought of you as family. Now ,Terri & I feel the same way, welcome to our family! And as Father would say, “Good Grief”, what took so long?

Father Miller,
I want to thank you for all that you did and provided for me and our family.  You were the father figure we never had.  I remember you and Sister Christine coming to our apartment in the projects with bags and sometimes boxes of food.  I also remember how you made our holidays extra special by providing what we needed. My memory of you is of a quiet individual with a strong character and a huge heart.  I especially remember the time you caught me taking a piece of coffee cake from the fridge at the rectory without asking. I was mortified, but you said to me "feel free to eat whatever is in the fridge, you never have to ask". Rest in peace father and continue watching over us from your place in heaven.

Father Miller,  thank you for all you did for me and my family. From allowing me and my brother Carlos to attend Gaurdian Angel, which made my Mom very happy. To helping me continue on to Alemany.  You and Sister Christine also took us on trips to San Francisco and the Grand Canyon, amongst many other places. You took us on an airplane for the first time. Something kids living in the projects would have never imagined possible. Thanks for listening to me when I needed to vent, then giving me your sage advice. I will miss you asking me about my family. I’ll miss talking about USC football. I miss you period. I hope you like the picture we choose. I know you didn’t like people fussing over you, but you deserve it. Thank you for all you did for the GA boys. Without you and Sister Christine our lives would have been very different. Father you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. May you Rest In Peace. Fr. Miller, you will forever be a big part of my family.  I enjoyed dinners at our home with you when I was young, and having you at get togethers with my family.  I will never forget the years my mom worked at the rectory for you, and me ringing the doorbell during recess and you answering the door and giving me a hard time and you saying, "what do you want from your mother now"...lol!!! I always needed that recess money to buy my snacks.  But you were so much fun to hang out with, going to Magic Mountain, to Haunted Houses in Lake View Terrace, and so many other things.  Mostly I remember the lunches and parties at the Vidal's and just spending time with you talking about life.  You were always so interested in what was going on with me.  You were so sweet to me when my husband passed and sent me a beautiful card and letter and you even called me.  You will forever hold a special place in my heart and I will never forget you.  Love you always and until we meet again.  

Fr. Miller will always remain one of our best memories of our years at Guardian Angel.  Both my brother, David, and I were allowed to be alter servers.  I was proud to be one of few girls allowed by Fr. Miller to serve at school mass by his side.  My brother, David, is most thankful to Fr. Miller for recognizing a young boy who needed some direction and taking him to the local golf course.  David not only received a golf scholarship to the University of Arizona, but also played for many years on the PGA Tour.    The Berganios thank you Fr. Miller for being there for our first confessions, first communions and confirmations.  Thank you for giving us your time.  May you rest in eternal peace with my mom, Irene.

Dear Father Miller, 
I miss you! I miss making you laugh. I miss  your calls for i-phone guidance. I miss your wisdom. I miss the only dancing partner  Philip let me dance with. I miss hearing you say, “Good grief!”  You were always there for me, in good times and in bad. You were my best friend, and you will never be forgotten . Thank you, Father for all you did for me and my loved ones. I know your mom, sister, and Philip will take care of you now.

I got to know Fr Miller because of my grandma🙏 I attended mass with her on Sunday and always looked forward to going with her. She sang in the choir. I didn’t attend school at Guardian Angel but always enjoyed how much Guardian Angel was like a big family. Families, friends,gatherings after mass, bingo at the same time my hula lessons were on Saturdays. I believe Fr Miller created this atmosphere. He’s also the reason I grew up comfortable around priests or nuns, lol. He continued to be significant in my teenage years at some difficult times. He married my sister, myself and my brother. He baptized my first baby boy in Oxnard. We exchanged Xmas cards throughout the years . A final memory that means so much is after our family had a accident and I survived being burned over 70% of my body. Fr Miller has and will remain in my ❤️ heart....I know he’ll be happy to see I got my nails done 💅 just in time to celebrate his life( our inside joke). Rest now Father , Bee 🐝
