Georgia Anne Johnston-Blanche

Georgia Johnston-Blanche, 85, of Ventura, passed away suddenly in her sleep just after midnight on Friday, July 27, 2012. She was born on January 20, 1927 in Oxford Junction, Iowa. Georgia moved from Whittier, California and had been a resident of Ventura County for the past 33 years residing at the Ventura Marina Mobile Home Park.

Georgia’s successful career in real estate for the last 35 years brought her great joy helping others find their perfect home. Georgia was known as the “Betty White” of real estate.

She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Herman “Herb” Blanche; her children, Pamela Herzer of Buena Vista, Colorado, Craig Johnston of Carmel, California and Jill Milligan of Orange, California; and grandchildren.

Georgia was preceded in death by her daughter, Janel Nass, January 2012.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3150 Loma Vista Rd., Ventura.
