Helen Kathryn Kopenhefer Richards

Helen K. Richards, 95, a longtime Ventura resident, passed away at home, on Friday, December 31, 2010. Helen was born in Laton, California on October 26, 1915 to Clyde and Katherine Kopenhefer. She was a homemaker for 75 years and attended Ventura Christian Church.

Helen is survived by her son and daughter- in -law, Bob and Mary Richards, of Santa Barbara; son, Don Richards, of Pasadena; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Jerry Wolfenbarger, of Oak View; grandchildren, Connie (Mike) Robles, of Santa Barbara, Kathy (Robert) Atelian, of Santa Barbara and Tony Richards, of Ventura; great- grandchildren, Monica Robles, and Cole and Luke Atelian.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, 5400 Valentine Rd., Ventura, with the Reverend Dan Hull officiating.
