Jon, Chris, and Tim, Your family has held a special place in my memory bank for years, having started at Camp Pathfinder in the 1960's. A lot of canoe trips, and a lot of laughs. I met your Dad at several dental meetings and never failed to remind him what terrific sons he had raised, and about the good times we shared. Your Dad was highly respected in our dental community and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Dr. Bill Salminen

I saw Dr. Arem's obituary in the Rochester NY paper; I lived in Ventura & Oxnard CA for over 20 years, and I went to your dad for dental work. I so remember him and your mother Jane- we had many talks about Rochester and Sea Breeze and its hamburgers ! I remember your dad's office and the TV always being on and he and your mother had special programs that they watched. It is funny tht in the last fews weeks I thought about them and just wondered about them - and then I read the obit. they both were just fine people, and fun to be with. I am now living in Wolcott, NY . I moved back in 1990. I just wanted to acknowledge to his family that what a great dad, and father you had, and mother. He certainly left his mark on the world. Sincerely, Chris Davis, Wolcott, NY

Thank you all for honoring my dad with your kind thoughts of him. Each of you have had your own special relationship with dad, each of you has your own set of memories and your own word picture that describes him.
Peace to you all.

Nancy and I became acquainted with Irv and Margie at the Ventura Dance Club, and then at Ventura Missionary Church. The few conversations we had with them about the love of Jesus were a challenge! And he had all the pastors scrambling for answers to his questions. I'm so glad that FINALLY he yielded, and Jesus, my Nancy, and many others are on heaven's welcoming committee for him. The Arem family is blessed.

What an extraordiany man, Irv Arem. At age 95 he could read a newspaper without reading glasses and was as lucid as any 20 year old on the street. He was an athlete....truly a man for all seasons. Most of all, he was a good friend to all who knew him...a loving father and grandfather. Although I would be considered a very distant relative, he always treated me like I was a part of his family. Both of us being in the field of dentistry, we shared many humorous stories of our adventures in the dental office. I will miss his outrageous sense of humor. As he always said to me at the end of our conversations, "Tally Ho" Irv...Tally Ho..

Grandpa lived a long healthy life and will dearly be missed by all. It's difficult to think of life with out him as he has always been someone that I have admired and looked up to. He was a very generous man and though he could be rough around the edges at times (seems to be a trait of all Arem's), he had a very big heart. Grandpa had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. I have lots of great stories and memories of him that I will cherish forever. Most importantly, I take comfort knowing that he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior a couple weeks ago and know that he is now looking down on his family on earth. God Bless Grandpa. I love you and will miss you greatly.

I will forever hold close to my heart the fond memories of my dear father-in-law Irving who never stopped treating me as his daughter. Thank you for always being there for me Dad and for being the most fun and loving grampa to the AJ and Zach who you were so proud of. You told me you were committed to sticking around to watch them get married. You made it to Zach and Stepanie's wedding and now you will have a birdseye view of AJ and Erica's next month! Please keep you eye on all of us. I promise to keep my "sunnyside up"...for you. I will miss having you in my life~
