Jacob, i miss yu so much.. at first, yu were just "the new kid" "the guy with the bright yellow backpack" and my favorite "the rly hot new kid." i would always see yu with Jacob Olsen and in Mr. Anter's 6th period computer class. Sometimes, id leave my science class and go to Mr. Anter's just to see yu and Jacob Olsen. Now looking back, i wish i talked yu more and gotten to know yu better. i am saddened that yu are gone but i smile to know that yu had lived, that i had a chance to meet yu && share a laugh together. I have never met Jacob and I have never met his family but my daughter went to school with him at Fremont. She walks around the house numb and from the saddness on her face and the words she speaks about him, I can see he was a VERY special young man.  I have lost a parent but cannot EVER imagine the loss of a child. I cry along with you and wish I could take away your pain.  Maybe knowing that he was so loved by so many and reading what strangers wrote will ease some pain.  My thoughts and prayers will be with you and yours each and every day. He was a beautiful young man..

I didn't know Jacob.  He is a friend of my daughter's.  She is completely heartbroken and without words.  They went to school together, and they had a very close group.  Although I have never met Jacob in person, I have heard all the wonderful things about him from Deanna and their friends.  She has written a letter to him, and has so many wonderful memories of his precious friendship.  Our condolences to the family.  We will be making a donation and the girls will be at the services....

To Jacob's Family, I never got the chance to meet your son although he and my daughter (Andi) went to school together at Balboa Middle School.  She would come home and tell me stories of how he had made her laugh or how they got in trouble in their science glass for spraying each other with water bottles.  It would bring a huge smile to her face whenever she talked about him.  That I believe is a great friend and from all I've heard he was nothing less than a wonderful kid who always had a smile on his face.  So now everytime we talk about him we to smile in his honor. My daughter Emilie went to school with jacob I can tell you that his passing has affected her.almost a year and a half ago WE too lost my son James, as a mother my heart and prayers go to the whole family because as we all know this is a huge impact in our lives. To Jacobs mom Iam so sorry for all the pain this has caused you and will cause you the rest of your life all I can tell you is be strong and remember the beautiful memories he left you because the bond we have with our children is so special that we think we will not survive. I want to share with you a poem that sees me through day by day    DON'T THINK OF HIM AS GONE AWAY-- HIS JOURNEY'S JUST BEGUN, LIFE HOLDS SO MANY FACETS-- THIS EARTH IS ONLY ONE. JUST THINK OF HIM AS RESTING FROM THE SORROWS AND THE TEARS IN A PLACE OF WARMTH AND COMFORT WHERE THERE ARE NO DAYS AND YEARS. THINK HOW HE MUST BE WISHING THAT WE COULD KNOW TODAY HOW NOTHING BUT OUR SADNESS CAN REALLY PASS AWAY. AND THINK OF HIM AS LIVING IN THE HEARTS OF THOSE HE TOUCHED.... FOR NOTHING LOVED IS EVER LOST--AND HE WAS LOVED SO MUCH.
