Jeanette Hess

Lifetime Ventura resident Jeanette Hess passed away June 30, 2013 after a sudden reoccurrence of cancer. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Louise Treece. Mrs. Hess was born July 21, 1938, in Ventura, CA. Jeanette had a wonderful sense of humor and could brighten a room the moment she entered. She is remembered fondly as a great cook, avid supporter of her sons’ sporting events, and all around gregarious soul. Jeanette devoted her life to her family and stayed devoted to her California roots throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, Charles Hess; two sons, Daniel (Lisa) and Christopher (Jessica); grandchildren, Danielle, Clayton, and Julian Hess; siblings Clyde Treece and Fred Treece. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Charles Carroll Funeral Home 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura with Rev. Jonathan Mulford officiating.
