Jerry was born in Ventura on Sept. 28, 1974. Jerry lived in Ventura all of his childhood, attending school at Will Rogers Elementary, Cabrillo Middle School, and Ventura High School. He lived in Colorado for the past 17 years. He owned and operated a plumbing company, and took great pride in each job he'd take on and doing the best he could. Jerry loved to snowboard and go white river rafting. He was an avid, lifelong Dodger fan.
Jerry is survived by his mother, Carmella Ramirez; stepfather Craig Smith; father, Jerry Brown, Sr.; stepmother, Connie Brown; brothers, Christian Brown, Zeb Albert (Bethany), Micah Albert (Christie); nieces Ryan and Malia Albert; Aunt Linda and Uncle Dale; and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jerry had a very special bond with his Grandma Carmen, whom he loved with all his heart. Jerry was preceded in death by his older brother, Gus Brown; his grandfather, Luis Ramirez; his grandmother, Nettie Brown; and his uncles Robert Ramirez and John Brown.
A celebration of Jerry's life will take place Saturday, Nov. 19, at 12:30 p.m. at Biedermann Hall at Sacred Heart Church, 10800 Henderson Road, Ventura.
All attending are encouraged to wear Dodger gear in remembrance of Jerry. Arrangements by Ted Mayr Funeral Home and Crematory, Ventura.
