Marvin L Brown

Marvin L. Brown was born 9/9/1944 in Inglewood, CA to Al and Virginia Brown. He passed away Monday May 27, 2013. He was 68. He went to USC for undergraduate studies and Dental School, graduating in 1972. He continued his studies at Boston University receiving his MS in periodontics. Returning to CA he opened his first practice in Oxnard and later moved it to Ventura. Dr. Brown continued specialty training to include prosthodontics in his general practice.

Marvin enjoyed sports, specifically USC football. Over the years he enjoyed flying, sailing, scuba diving and golf. He loved the adventure of travel by cruise ship which allowed him to visit historical sites in many of the countries around the globe. He always loved to come back home to the Ojai Valley though, where he lived with his wife, Gabriele.

In 2005 he retired to Ojai. He is survived by his wife Gabriele and son Matt.
