

Mary faithfully served Ojai in their fifty-one years they’ve been residents: with Children’s Home Society, P.E.O., Ojai Valley Tennis Association, HELP of Ojai, Hitching Post Association, Ojai Valley Garden Club, and the First Baptist Church of Ojai.
She was known to her family and friends as one who humbly put the needs of others above her own.
She is survived by her husband, Joe De Vito; son, Michael De Vito (Kristi) of Costa Mesa; daughter, Melinda De Vito Perry (John) of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Candice Romley, Kimberly Kirkwood (Jared), Rachel Perry; and great grandchildren, Kennedy Romley, Asher and Ellie Kirkwood.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ken Hartenstein and Dr. Ray Sims for their dedicated care of Mary through the years.
A celebration of Mary’s life will take on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, 2:00 pm, at The First Baptist Church of Ojai, 930 Grand Avenue, Ojai, CA 93023.
Donations can be made to the HELP of Ojai, or the First Baptist Church Women’s Scholarship Fund.
