Mary Maxine Varner (White), 96, passed away on May 26, 2013, in Quartz Hill following a brief illness. She was born December 2, 1916, in Savannah, Missouri. Maxine grew up and graduated from Savannah High School. Following graduation Maxine married Marcell Varner on June 13, 1936, in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Varner’s moved to Los Angeles in 1937, where they spent 13 years before moving to North Hollywood in 1950. They moved to Ventura in 1969, and attended College Heights Church.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Marcel in 1998. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
