I don't know if you remember us but we lived across the street from you in Santa Ana. We were on our way camping and passed Ojai. We wondered if you still lived there and I looked Mike up on google to see if it showed you in Ojai. You can't imagine how shocked we were to come across this. We are so sorry to hear this news. We always talk about when we were so poor and you guys invited us over to watch the olympics because we didn't have a colored tv. And how Mike loaned me his sleeping bag when we went camping so I wouldn't freeze. I remember coming to your house before the one you guys built and it was Easter. Mike help Bill build a stand for Jason's car seat in the van so Jason could see out the window. Only the fondest of memories of the two of you. We would love to hear from you

In 1970 FS 26 was my truck house. My first shift I walk onto the apparatus floor and this fireman growled at me "What are you doing on MY apparatus floor"? It was a tough 3 months but thanks to Mike I made it. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends.

Michael was always a joy to fly with and a pleasure to be around. He was always pleasant, had a great sense of humor, and was concerned about the well being of others.

Heavenly Father, please, in the name of Your Son, comfort Michael's family and friends as they experience his absence. May grace and peace be theirs.
