Pat was born October 8, 1917 in Oxnard, CA. She graduated from Santa Clara Catholic School in Oxnard. For 20 years she resided in Robbins, CA raising her two sons and working for Marysville Tractor Company. She eventually returned to Ventura County where she married the love of her life, Raymond"Jay" Cain. They lived in Ventura for the remainder of their lives.
Pat and Jay retired together after she worked in various secretarial positions and he in construction. They both enjoyed the great outdoors, traveling together in their RV accompanied by their friends and sometimes an occasional grandchild or two. Favorite places included Death Valley, CA, Yuma, AZ and Idaho. Nana loved dancing, playing table games, collecting rocks and other various nature items as well as making and purchasing arts and crafts. She often would share her many treasures with family and friends. They both were active in their church and serving in several capacities. She loved to cook and entertain, hosting dinner parties and always taking time to make sure you felt at home. One of her best qualities was her correspondence with others. She faithfully would answer all letters and cards and a thank you note was a must if you did even the smallest thing for her.
Her surviving family members will miss her greatly.
