

Pat was a graduate registered nurse having attended both UCLA and UCSF. She had worked in various hospitals and nursing homes, but primarily for Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, retiring in 1986.
She was a resident of Ventura for the past 23 years coming from Northridge. Pat had been an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church since moving to Ventura. She and her husband Terry facilitated a small faith sharing group and served as bereavement ministers for many years. She was also a Eucharistic Minister to the homebound and a member of the Theta Phi Alpha Catholic Sorority. Her hobbies included bridge, bowling and bingo. She and her husband Terry enjoyed traveling together including several trips abroad.
Pat is survived by her husband of 59 years, Terry Kinsella of Ventura; son and daughter-in-law Patrick and Carol Kinsella of Malibu; daughter Marie Zweig of Malibu; granddaughters, Megan Zweig of Washington D.C., Casey Zweig, Sarah Zweig, Kelly Kinsella and Kaitlin Kinsella all of Malibu and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, January 3, 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. also at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 4, 10:00 A.M.at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 3175 Telegraph Road, Ventura, with The Reverend Steve Davoren officiating. A reception will follow at the church. Private burial will take place at Santa Clara Cemetery, Oxnard.
