Pauline Vera Knight

Vera Pauline Croxell Knight, 88, of Ojai, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Ojai Valley Hospital Continuing Care facility. She was born on March 22, 1928 to Ivan and Eva Mae (Claude) Croxell in the County of Woodbury, Iowa.

Pauline was a mother of four children, Gary, Larry, Sharon and Paula.

She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Raymond Foster, Sr.; her husband, David Knight; brothers and sisters, Charles, Lucille, Fern, Estle, Russell and Opal Croxell; her son, Gary Foster; and grandson, Steven Duffy.

Pauline is survived by her sister, Geneva and Owen Leslie of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Ivan Croxell, Jr. of Mobile, AL; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Kathy Foster, of Ojai, CA; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Larry Leeper of Fayette, Iowa, and Paula and Norman Karney of Austin, TX; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016, 5:00 pm, at Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, CA 93003. Pauline will be interred at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, in Denison, Iowa at a later date.
