Renee Marie Pleis

Renee Marie Pleis, 45, of Ventura, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, following a sudden illness. Renee was born April 18, 1964, in Burbank, California and had been a resident here for 40 years coming from Van Nuys. Renee attended schools in Ventura graduating from Ventura High School in 1982. Renee enjoyed writing poetry and valued her time spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Jason (22), Jacob (18) and Riley (14) and daughter, Karly (14); her mother, Rosemary Dasnoit; sisters and brothers-in-law, Teri and Jim Hilton, Zoe and Fred Michael, Jenny and Dan Rollag; sisters, Connie Dasnoit Cindy Dasnoit and Mary Dasnoit; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Rae-Ann Dasnoit, Ed and Tracy Dasnoit; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will take place Thursday, March 11, 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. with Rosary recited 7:00 P.M., at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.

Funeral Mass will take place Noon, Friday, March 12, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Telegraph Rd., Ventura, with The Reverend Steve Davoren officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura.
