Ruth Rachmuth

Ruth Rachmuth, 88, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014, in Ventura, following a prolonged illness. She was born Ruth Frances Goldberg to Phillip and Anna Goldberg in Philadelphia, PA. Ruth married Gilbert Rachmuth in 1947, they moved from Philadelphia to Oxnard in 1961.

A devoted homemaker and mother, Ruth is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Marc and Diana Rachmuth of Oxnard, and Stuart and Dinah Rachmuth of San Diego. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert in 1992.

The family wishes to express their appreciation and thanks for the care and service given to Ruth by the staff at Cypress Place Assisted Living and Rose Room Hospice.

Graveside services were held Monday, September 15, 2014 with Rabbi Michael Lotker officiating.
