My sympathy for your family. I got to know Steve when we moved the Ventura Resource Center from one building to another, Steve was wonderful! He was great to interact with and continued to do so when any issues or needs came up in the RC. He was always running and putting out one fire to the next. Steve had a great sense of humor and always a smile even though we gave him extra work. Thanks Steve, you will be missed.

Cindy: I was so sorry to hear about Steve. He was always so helpful with any facility issues I would submit to his department. Steve was such a good mentor to me as I was learning how to take care of facilities within the Ventura Job and Career Center. No matter how many times I would ask for guidance with a building issue, he was always kind and patient. I know he will be greatly missed at County of Ventura. My heart and thoughts go out to you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Joy Aurella-retiree of VJCC

Steve was like a big brother to me. When he first started with HSA Facilities he was very quite, but once he got to know you, you were his friend and would do anything he could to help. I will miss him dearly and will keep Cindy and family in my prayers.

Im still in shock and Dads taking it hard... You were his right hand man & the other half of his brain lol only u know what im talking about! I know your riding in heaven. Watch over all of us and give Dad the strength each day! The kids say they love u Uncle Steve! When I look back at all the years we got to spend with you, it puts a big smile on my face.
