Terri Sheridan

She was born Mary Therese Sheridan on October 22, 1946, at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica to James and Suzanne Sheridan. Terri graduated from Louisville High School in 1964. Following graduation Terri attended Cal-State L.A. where she received her Bachelor’s degree and later her Master’s degree in teaching. She was an educator in the Oxnard School District for 37 years, retiring in 2013.

Terri enjoyed film, participated in the theatre, loved gardening and unconditionally loving her three children, Sean, Courtney and Maureen. She was a devout member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Terri was a strong supporter of the Ojai Raptor Center, the Surfrider Foundation and the Ventura Botanical Society.

She was preceded in death by her father, James; and brother, Michael Sheridan. Terri is survived by her mother, Suzanne Sheridan; son, Sean P. Hayes and his wife, Tana and granddaughters, Siena and London Hayes; her daughters, Courtney and Maureen Hayes; and brothers, Rory, Jamey and Marty Sheridan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 3175 Telegraph Rd, Ventura at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 1, 2014, with The Reverend Alex Amayun officiating, reception to follow. Burial will take place the following day, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 5835 W. Slauson Avenue, Culver City, CA at 11:30 A.M.
