Thomas Hart

Thomas “Vatas” Clayton Hart passed away on May 24, 2014. He was born on December 27, 1951 and was a long time Ventura resident. He worked in the family glass business and was car salesman for many years. He was also an avid bowler and was a fan of auto racing. His pride and joy was his Chihuahua, J.C.

Tom’s magnetic personality always drew a crowd wither it was at the race track in Turn 4 or at the Ventura Harbor listening to his favorite band on Sunday afternoon or involved in his church group.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elaine Hart.

He is survived by his son, Tommy Hart; brothers, Harry, Mike, Dennis and sister, Donna; several nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 5 at 11am in the chapel at Charles Carroll Funeral Home, 15 Teloma Drive, Ventura 805-642-8134 with a reception to follow.
