Virginia Louise Hedman

Virginia was born in Glendale California on October 16, 1928. She has been a full time resident of Ventura County for over 68 years.

Virginia worked many jobs over the years that she was proud of, including working for the County of Ventura, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), and the American Cancer Society to name a few.

Virginia was a long time member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Ventura, CA.

Virginia was a devoted wife and mother as she was preceded in death by her late husband Victor Hedman in 2003 after 54 years of marriage. Virginia loved sports, especially water skiing, soft ball and bowling.

She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives that have been touched by her love and kindness. She is survived by son, Kenneth and Mary of Ventura, and son Russel and Linda of Signal Hill CA; Granddaughters, Caitlin Hedman, Milagrosa Hedman, and three other granddaughters; grandson, Mikael Hedman, and one other grandson; one great granddaughter; and one great grandson.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Contributions may be made in Virginia’s memory to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Ventura.
