William Wylie Richmond

Bill was born December 27, 1934, in Washington, DC, to William Henry Richmond and Cordelia Rexsteiner Richmond. He graduated from Hollywood High School, Hollywood, CA in 1954. Bill married Eileen Shannon later that same year, and resided in Burbank for nearly 50 years before moving to Ventura last summer.

Bill was a 28-year veteran of the Burbank Police Department. He also served as a reservist in the United States Navy.

Bill is survived by Eileen, his wife of 59 years; daughters Shannon, Coleen and Theresa; sons, William and Stephen; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren

A Rosary and Mass will be held Friday, May 31, 10 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church in Ventura. Burial will immediately follow at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery, Oxnard.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3150 Loma Vista Rd., Ventura.
