Chantal Beauregard

Chantal a évolué dans le domaine des communications tout au long de sa vie professionnelle. Elle a d'abord été la première femme annonceur à la toute nouvelle station de radio francophone de Toronto en 1964, CJBC, Radio-Canada. Sa carrière s'est poursuivie en radio et télédiffusion à Radio-Canada, CBC, TVOntarion et TFO. De retour à Montréal, Chantal a été responsable des relations de presse au Centre universitaire de santé McGill et s'est finalement consacrée à la rédaction de reportages pour la presse touristique.

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Chantal Beauregard at Verdun, March 21, 2018 at the age of 77 years old.

Chantal was involved in the field of communcations throughout her professional life. In 1964, she was the first female announcer at CJBC Radio-Canada, a new francophone radio station of Toronto at the time. She pursued her career in radio and broadcasting at Radio-Canada, CBC, TVOntarion and at TFO. Upon her arrival back to Montreal, Chantal was in charge of press relations (PR) at the McGill University Health Centre. She has then devoted her life to the editing of tourism press.

Parents and friends are invited to tell her their final goodbyes April 22, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Laurent Thériault Funeral Home, located at 512 rue de l'Église, Verdun H4G2M4, 514 769-3867. Parking and access ramp is available.
