It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ernestine ‘Teen’ Doreen McLeod, on January 23, 2018, at the age of 91.
Cherished aunt of Erlene Brown, she will also be deeply missed by her best friend Mercedes Ricarde, other relatives, friends and staff members of the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Ernestine a retired head nurse of the 9 east unit, then nursing supervisor for many years. A great mentor and excellent educator, recipient of the Canadian Silver Jubilee medal in 1977. We will greatly miss her mischievous laugh and sense of humour.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday February 6, 2018 from 6pm to 10pm at the Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 ch. De la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC, H3V 1E7. A commemorative service will take place in the salon at 7pm.
In lieu of flower, donations to Alzheimer Society of Quebec would be appreciated.
