Jeanne Samira Mouhamar (épouse Farhat)

Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux après 66 ans de mariage, Georges Mansour Farhat ;

ses enfants : Liliane Farhat (épouse de Naji Raya), Dany Farhat, Elie Farhat (époux de Jin Joo) et Solange Farhat (épouse de Gérard Marcos) ;

ses onze petits-enfants : Charbel et Karell Touma, Patricia, Regina et Nassib Bouchebel, Elias et Mina Farhat, Adrien Marcos (époux de Sarah Fakih), Alexandre, Léa et Anthony Marcos ; son arrière-petit-fils : Gabriel Alexandre Marcos ;

sa sœur Latife Mouhamar (épouse d’Elias Sabbagh †) et son frère Chikry Mouhamar (époux de Hoda Hindy), ainsi que leurs enfants.

Ce deuil afflige aussi les familles Said, Nasr, Marcos, Badr, Touma, Rad, Sfeir, Zarzour, Hird, Sara, Mouhamar, Zalaket, Wakim, Farhat, Sabbagh, Haddad et Bouhanna.

Son absence laisse un grand vide dans nos coeurs. Elle a marqué tous ceux qui ont croisé son chemin par son hospitalité chaleureuse, sa générosité sans limite et sa bonté infinie. Elle a comblé ses enfants et petits-enfants d’un amour inconditionnel et d’une douceur exceptionnelle. Sa sagesse, son optimisme, sa résilience et sa foi resteront à jamais une source d’inspiration pour nous tous.

Que sa mémoire soit éternelle.

Le dimanche 5 janvier, la famille recevra les condoléances de 17 h à 21 h à la salle Les Pins du centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, situé au 4525 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC, H3V 1E7. (stationnement intérieur disponible)

Le lundi 6 janvier, un service religieux sera célébré à 11 h à la Cathédrale Saint-Maron, située au 10755 Av. Saint-Charles, Montréal, QC, H2C 3G4.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne Samira Mouhamar (Farhat) on December 27, 2024. She left us peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years of marriage, Georges Mansour Farhat;

her children: Liliane Farhat (wife of Naji Raya), Dany Farhat, Elie Farhat (husband of Jin Joo), and Solange Farhat (wife of Gérard Marcos);

her eleven grandchildren: Charbel and Karell Touma, Patricia, Regina, and Nassib Bouchebel, Elias and Mina Farhat, Adrien Marcos (husband of Sarah Fakih), Alexandre, Léa, and Anthony Marcos;

her great-grandson: Gabriel Alexandre Marcos;

her sister Latife Mouhamar (wife of the late Elias Sabbagh) and her brother Chikry Mouhamar (husband of Hoda Hindy), as well as their children.

This loss also deeply affects the families Said, Nasr, Marcos, Badr, Touma, Rad, Sfeir, Zarzour, Hird, Sara, Mouhamar, Zalaket, Wakim, Farhat, Sabbagh, Haddad, and Bouhanna.

Her absence leaves a great void in our hearts. She touched everyone who crossed her path with her warm hospitality, boundless generosity, and infinite kindness. She filled her children’s and grandchildren’s lives with unconditional love and exceptional gentleness. Her wisdom, optimism, resilience, and faith will forever remain an inspiration to us all.

May her memory be eternal.

Funeral Details:

On Sunday, January 5th, the family will receive condolences from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Les Pins Hall of the Côte-des-Neiges Funeral Centre, located at 4525 chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC, H3V 1E7. (indoor parking available)

On Monday, January 6th, a religious service will be held at 11:00 AM at Saint-Maron Cathedral, located at 10755 Av. Saint-Charles, Montreal, QC, H2C 3G4.
