Predeceased by his beloved wife Sylvia Kaplun, cherished father of Joe (Mary Ann), Greg (Jennifer), Marty Jr. (Carol), devoted grandfather of Megan (François-Xavier), Ashley (Jean-Michel), Jamie, Arlen, Jeremy, Kristie (Miguel), Matthew (Jenny). He was a loving Great Didi to Eddie, Nikolas, Oskar, Anne Florence, Gregoire, Samuel and Harper.
Marty was from a family of 7 children and is survived by his brother Emil (Johane), nieces and nephews.
Marty had two passions : his work at the Canadian National Railway where he worked for over 30 years and his family. He was a proud father of his family and proud of the family it became. He lived all his life in Ville LaSalle and was involved in his community as much as possible.
At this time of exceptional circumstances and imposed isolation, a memorial and burial at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery will be held at a later date.
