Matt and Donna -- I cannot even begin to understand the pain and sorrow you must be going through.  "Terrible Loss" sounds like perhaps a shipwreck, not a phrase to describe the horrible gaping hole now left in your life by the loss of a brother.  I have never met AJ, nor the rest of your family Matt.  But I know you, and I know Donna, and the sadness I get from reading about AJ's death is overwhelming.  Take care of each other. I was one of A.J.'s nursing preceptors  and I have to say he was the most memorable fun student I ever had. We may have grown apart over the past few years based on distance but when I look back on my childhood and into adulthood many of my favourite memories are of times when I was with AJ.  He entered a room (any room) and instantly brightened it up.  His quick wit and his infectious energy always made for a great time for those around him....it was hard not to have a great time because he always had you in fits of laughter.  He had such an entertaining way about him...he could tell a story like no other.  There are only happy memories for me and quite evidently for many, many more people out there who he has so positively impacted.  Take pride in the outpouring of love for this beautifully kind soul that has left us too soon.  My heart goes out to all of you.
