After a brief illness, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Allan Moore. Predeceased by his father George Moore and nephew Garrett Moore. He leaves behind wife Debra of 52 years, his children Stacy, (Mike) and Leslie, and grandchildren Hannah, Brennan, Roan, Clay and Elly.
Allan was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and a friend. He adored and spoiled all 5 of his grandchildren, and he was affectionately known as “big grandpa” and “grandpa tractor.” His love of John Deer equipment became his life long hobby, along with Deb.
Allan will be remembered for his love of a good meal, his laugh, tinkering in his shop, being the family's “fix it man” and his willingness to help out friends.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Vernon Cancer center clinic and the ICU at VJH.
A celebration of life is planned for May 23rd 2026 from 1-4 pm at Paddlewheel Hall in Vernon.
