She was born in Victoria on April 3, 1935, and was raised in Vancouver. Anne received her R.N. degree from The School of Nursing at Vancouver General Hospital in 1957. She married Hamish Robertson in 1958, and they were married for 63 years before Hamish’s passing in 2021. Anne worked as a Home Care Nurse in Vernon and after she and Hamish retired, they spent many winters with friends in Palm Springs.
She was an avid golfer and bridge player and volunteered her time to the Canadian Cancer Society for over 25 years, as well as many other charitable organizations over the years.
She is survived by her brother Richard (Joan), children Bruce and Jane (Gerry) and her two grandchildren Owen and KP. She was a kind and gentle soul and will be missed by all who knew her.
The family will be celebrating Anne in a private gathering next year.
