I met Clay about 25 years ago at one of the first years of the Merrit Mountain Music Festivals. He was larger than life and so "tall, dark and handsome"! We remained friends through the years. Even though we didn't see or speak on a regular basis there was still a very strong connection.....as they say "you could pick up where you left off". Clay was larger than life and will be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers go to Clay's family - my heart breaks for you all.
