David John Junior Borden

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David John Junior Borden (52) of Lake Country, BC. David John, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and friend to so many. David was born and raised in the beautiful Okanagan, where he spent summers on Kalamalka Lake and winters on the snowy slopes of Silver Star Mountain. Known for his love of nature and adventure, he embraced every opportunity presented to him with a passion for life.

David and Amber were college sweethearts who met at Okanagan College in the Business Administration Program. After traveling, they moved to Calgary where David attended SAIT and graduated at the top of his Electrical Engineering Technology program.

Abbie and Ari where then welcomed into their lives, and the days were full and busy with all that family has to offer. David loved his children deeply and found joy, pride and purpose in their love. David is survived by his wife Amber, of 25 years, daughter Abbigale, and son Ari James.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 22 2026 at Coldstream Community Hall located at 9909 Kalamalka Road, Coldstream, BC.
