Diane was a radiant soul, beautiful inside and out, who had a remarkable way of uplifting everyone around her. Known for her dazzling smile, timeless grace, and fiery spirit, she was a woman of strength and resilience—a brave and true fighter. To know Diane was to be embraced by her boundless love and loyalty; once you became her friend, you were her friend for life.
She was a devoted mother to Blake and Tanya, and her greatest joy was her grandchildren—Martinus, Evie, Scottie, and Hunter—who were the lights of her life. Diane cherished them with endless pride and unconditional love.
Although she was taken from us far too soon, with so much more she wished to do, places to explore, and bicycles to ride, we find comfort in knowing she continues to watch over us, just as she always has.
Diane grew up in Maple Ridge, B.C., surrounded by the love of her parents, Helen and Martin Vandenberg, and her two brothers, Dave and Dan.
The time we had with Diane is a gift we will treasure forever. She would not want us to dwell in sadness but to celebrate the beautiful moments and memories she shared with us. Her warmth, energy, and love will remain with us always.
In honoring Diane, let us carry forward her zest for life and remember her in the happiest of times.
We will announce a Celebration of Life for Diane in the Spring of 2025 when it will be easier for everyone for travel.
