Dietmar—our Dad and Opa—was treasured and truly loved. Today we celebrate his life of 86 years. Dietmar met the love of his life, Eugenie Balske, and they were married on June 10, 1961, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, sharing 64 years of marriage marked by love, faith, and devotion to family.
A man of quiet strength and steadfast belief, Dietmar lived his life guided by kindness, humility, and faith in God. We were all loved beyond words—his wife, Eugenie; his children, Ron (Nancy), Marina (Philip), Andrea (Johannes), and Reinhart. Opa’s beautiful grandchildren are his amazing legacy: Eli, Jacob, Zoe, Jeremy, Mackenzie, and Shanon.
