He was born on February 27, 1930 and passed away on March 25, 2018.
Horst was born in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany, the 6th of 7 siblings.
He married Berta Hoffmann on Nov. 29, 1953. They had three children; Eleonore Lichti, Marilyn Gustavson, and Anita (Craig) Hellquist; 7 grandchildren, Johanna Peters, Corrie (Kris) Nordhagen, Esther(Boyd) Fletcher, Calvin Gautschi, Tanner, Jessie and Logan Hellquist; and 10 great grandchildren: Tristan, Shaylee, Emersyn, Taylor, Trenton, Dayton, Brandon, Julie, Cooper, Lincoln, Tanner, Jessie and Logan, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter Eleonore in 1999.
There will be a Memorial Service at the Armstrong Bible Chapel, 2145 Rosedale Ave, Armstrong, British Columbia on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 1:00pm.
Graveside to follow at the Armstrong Spallumcheen Cemetery 4250 Highland Park Road at 2:30.
