

Mike was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on October 21st, 1958. Predeceased by his Father John, his Mother Phyllis, his Brother Marty. Mike leaves behind his loving Wife Donna, his two step-children, Colleen and Trevor, their children Jordyn, Mckenzie, and Maddison. His daughter Cheyanne and Granddaughter Destiny of Whitehorse, Yukon. Survived by by four sisters and two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews in Saskatchewan.
As a young man he was and Alter Boy who had a beautiful baritone voice he also loved playing the accordion. He loved living in the Yukon, he had a snow removal company called Shamrock. He loved to ride the 4 wheelers through the sand dunes and rivers. Mike moved to Vernon B.C. in 1988 where he was to meet his Wife Donna they married on July 26, 1991. Mike worked for McLeod By-Products for several years before becoming a professional Transport driver, after getting is class 1, he worked in Quesnel for Quesnel Hiab for 13 years. Moving back to Vernon in 2008. He then worked for Caravan Trucking - hauling from British Columbia to Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He was a wonderful dancer with a great singing voice - a cowboy at heart, loved watching westerns, game shows, enjoyed playing cribbage, and spite and malice. Mike especially loved spending time with family and friends, he loved telling jokes and was very good at it, always gave us a good laugh, he loved horses and his dogs. He will loving remembered by all of his family and friends.
The family is grateful for all the care and compassion from the Staff and Doctors at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Cremation to Follow. Celebration of life in Spring of 2026.
