Joyce Hope Evison Young

Passed away at her home in Desert Cove, Vernon, BC, surrounded by family. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Larry; daughters Deborah Arter (Dan) and Gail Conlin (David); son Larry (Amanda) and sister Marilyn Duncan; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter, Karen Rokosh (Dean).

Joyce was a former longtime resident of Surrey-Richmond, and Nanaimo prior to moving to Vernon in 1989, and resided at Desert Cove for the past 21 years. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, April 6, from 1:30 until 4:00 in the Desert Cove Recreation Centre. In lieu of flowers friends wishing to do so may make donations in memory of Joyce to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, BC Branch, Ste. 200 – 4940 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC V5G 4K6.
