Keith Shawcross

Keith was born on July 28, 1947 in Glossop, England to Joan and Colin Shawcross. Keith was a seal certified welder and worked in the profession his entire career. In 1969 Keith immigrated to Canada. Keith was happily married to Jennifer Shawcross, the love of his life for almost 50 years.

Keith is survived by his wife Jenny, children Claire & her husband Andy, Travis & his wife Kirsten, Dale, Jesse, Lee, Danielle, Brittany & her husband Alex, 11 Grandchildren, Sisters Janet and Vivian and numerous others.

Besides spending time with his family, Keith loved to golf! You would often see him hitting up the links at various golf courses around the Fraser Valley, Okanagan and Yuma Arizona with friends. The summers in the 90’s Keith would be at the family cabin on the little Shuswap lake taking the family and friends out tubing and waterskiing, or sitting on the deck with the various neighbors enjoying a drink and some laughs!

The last ten years Keith has enjoyed travelling and snowbirding. He fought a long and courageous battle with cancer and throughout it all he kept his sense of humour and positive attitude.

Keith had a loving and passionate personality and was known for his English humour, sense of pride for his children and his love for his partner in all; Jennifer.

A celebration of life will be held at the Guildford Golf & Country Club in Surrey On Sunday, November 24th at 3:00pm. All are welcome to attend.
