OBITUARY

Ralph Marchand

On January 3, 2021, the Creator peacefully called our father Ralph Marchand at the age of 80.

He was surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was predeceased by the love of his life, friend, and wife Rose; his parents, Charlie Marchand and Susan Nicolas, grandparents, Marianne and Pacheese Nicolas, grandchildren, Brenden Oliverius, Francine Brown, and Leon Marchand, son-in-law Philip Wilson, Aunt Rita Nicolas, siblings Frank, Pauline, Bobby, and Carey Marchand.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Wilbur Marchand; daughter-in-law, Colleen Marchand, Bernadine Marchand, Susan (Richard) Oliverius, May Wilson, Paul( Monica) Michel, Bernice (Timothy) Jensen, Stuart (Yvonne) Lee, Marlene Marchand, son-in-law, Richard Holmes, Julie (Mario) Richard, Joseph (Kristen) Marchand, Ann (Jody) Broomfield. His Aunt Marie Nicolas. Fur babies: Willow, Bradley and Mikey. "Grandpa Ralph” will be missed by his 42 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and also numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Dad enjoyed spending time with his family, whether it be hunting, fishing or going to sporting events to cheer his grandchildren and great grandchildren in hockey, lacrosse and fastpitch. On summer days he loved to host BBQ's for his family spending quality time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed travelling with his family to San Francisco, San Diego, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Pheonix Arizona and the Grand Canyon.

Ceremony to celebrate his life will be held on Friday January 8, 2021 at the family home that he and his wife shared. The families wish to keep the community safe and will be limiting the ceremony to immediate family only as a precautionary measure for Covid 19. A memorial will be held at a later date. Thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time.
