My condolences to Ranald's family and friends. Many years ago, Margaret Rose MacKenzie and I had a most interesting adventure with Ranald when he took us to visit a hermit in the back hills of Margaree.

If there’s a true description of “one of a kind”, it’s Ranold Murphy.
His character was as real and as free, as he could be.
The mini-bike adventures / the mannequin / hiding in the garbage, just before the garbage truck arrived are memories I can never forget.
He was “ one of a kind “
