Robert James Burk

Robert (Bob) James Burk passed away peacefully on January 13, 2023, surrounded by family. Bob was creative, caring, gentle, and strong-minded. He loved nature, his family, and his rescue cat, Coco. Bob spent much of his life working in construction and was involved in many projects throughout Alberta and B.C. His true passion came out through his carpentry. He was meticulous with his woodwork and a true artist. Bob spent many hours labouring over his marquetry and has created countless beautiful pieces. His craftsmanship and strong work ethic led him to develop many valuable friendships during his last 20 years in Vernon. Bob is survived by his parents, Colin and Marguerite Burk; his daughter Melissa (Chris) Watamanuk and grandchildren Lucas and Emily; his brother Tim (Janice) Burk, Sister Joanne, and nieces Heather and Alex; his beloved nephew.
