

On Dec 18th 2014, following his 70th birthday, Roger Gordon Wiggins of Kamloops, BC, passed away at his daughters home surrounded by his loving family after a long and brave battle with the effects of stroke.
Born in Creemore, Ontario, Roger has resided in BC for almost 45 years. He is predeceased by parents Elsie Winteringham and Gordon Wiggins of Ontario. He is survived by his daughters Lisa and Erin and grandchildren Alysha, Morgan and Garrett, all of BC. Also survived by brothers Earl,
Bev, Grant and Tom of Ontario along with nieces and nephews.
Roger spent the last 20 years before retiring working in Tumbler Ridge at Bullmoose Mine as an equipment operator - anyone that knew him knew how much he loved what he did and long after his stroke he always hoped he could do it just one more time. He loved to spend time with family and friends and loved being outdoors and having fun. He was selfless and kind and had the most amazing sense of humor despite any hardships or struggles. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and dear friends and his smiles and laughter will be everlasting.
Cremation and arrangements were made according to his wishes at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home in Vernon, BC.
