With broken hearts we announce the tragic passing of Susan Lowe on November 16, 2011 surrounded by family. Wife, mother, sister, friend, she was born in Vancouver on October 19, 1953. Moving to Vernon in 1964. Her most important job was to encourage strength and confidence in her children Travis and Megan of whom she was so proud. Sue would light up a room with her infectious laugh and brilliant humour. A former SPCA volunteer, she had a commitment to animals and loved her dogs. She leaves behind her loving husband Chris, children Travis and Megan Lowe, sister Patricia (Pete). A memorial will be held on Monday, November 28 at 2pm at the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Vernon SPCA.
